WHO DO I HAVE TO CALL FOR PLUMBING OR SEWER SERVICE?!
This is a question which we have in mind when a plumbing or sewer problem appear in our house. Do I have to call a small plumbing and sewer company or a corporation? Which is better? Which provides a better service? As a matter a fact both will provide almost the same service. But there are several things which you have to keep in mind before your call. I will show you a few pros and cons, which I consider will help you in your decision.
Small company
pros the service will be not so costly the plumbers or technicians are trained by a big company and they are trained well the job they provide will be tidy they are forward and fair with you
cons sometimes if you have an emergency
they can not be on time to help you
they don't have all the big tools, and because they have to rent the cost of service will go up
not a big penetration in business market
Corporation
pros they will be on time( within 30 min) they have heavy equipment for major jobs
provide more tips of services
cons they are costly having sales guys, is possible that a minor job
to be transformed in a major job, in short words
a rip-off
sometimes they hire a non professional
guy with minor knowledge in business that they serve
they do not care about you, they want your money!
you pay for their advertising at least 20-30% of the bill
I consider these are the most important things to keep in mind while choosing who to call for service. Now it is your choice.
