How much do you have to trust in those prices? None. Those prices are only a way for those companies to step inside of your house. Think about this. Usually to clean the main sewer line from outside 6" clean out, in length of 60-100 ft takes for a GOOD technician about 1hr to 1-1/2 hrs. The machine price is around $3,000.00, the main line cable plus the blades around $350-$400. The technician will be pay with $30-35 per hr. At the end the company profit. Where is this? In your packet! Why? Because they will try to sell excavation, which means thousands of $ for you. Sometimes probably is necessary. But not all the time. Think twice, and do once.
